We've been asked for this a dozen or more times so finally it's here - a 100% cacao drinking chocolate with no added sugar. This has been one of those long development jobs where none of the existing origins we use seemed to deliver a drink with a nice intensity without the bitterness. In steps yet another Mexican cacao (yes we know we've been binging a little on this recently) this one is Agua Escondida from the Tabasco region and finally we have something that hits the brief. Launching just in time for the Hot Chocolate season, this one is defiantly not sweet (that's kind of the point) but takes both a pinch of cinnamon or half teaspoon of maple syrup extremely well.
